Annunziata Vestri - Carmen

Winner of “Lauri Volpi”, “Maria Caniglia” and Rosertum Lyric Contests, Mrs Vestri
made her debut in 2003 as Suzuki in Madama Butterfly. An eclectic artist
with bold acting qualities, she can boast a huge repertoire that spans from Bel
Canto to Verdi and Puccini’s masterpieces. Annunziata Vestri regularly collaborates
with theaters such as: Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Teatro Regio in Turin , Maggio
Musicale in Florence, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, San Carlo in Naples, Opéra de
Montecarlo, Teatro Regio in Parma, Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, Sferisterio
Opera Festival in Macerata, Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto. Mrs. Vestri lately
performed Irene in Donizetti's Belisario at the opening night
season (2012) at the Bergamo Musica Festival, recently performed L’Arlesiana
production by Rosetta Cucchi at the Wexford Festival Opera (cond.
Angus) and at the Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi(cond. Cilluffo); La Clemenza di Tito (dir.
Grinda; cond. Gelmetti)in Trieste; Rigoletto in Naples, Savona and Genoa
(production by Rolando Panerai), where she also starred in Dvorak’s Stabat Mater; Carmen
in Livorno and Lucca; Il Trovatore in Schenkenberg; La Traviata
at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Ferzan Ozpetek directing; Madama Butterfly
in Kiel. Mrs. Vestri made her film debut performing as Tisbe in La Cenerentola for
the Opera movie directed by Carlo Verdone, conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti and producted
by Rada Film. Mrs Vestri returns to the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa where she recently
performed Suor Angelica and Il Tabarro .
Annunziata Vestri will perform Falstaff (Meg) in Marseille; Aida (Amneris)
at the Opernfestspiele St. Margarethen; Madama Butterfly and Il Trittico (Damiano
Michieletto directing) at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari; Andrea Chénier
at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples.

Silvia Dalla Benetta - Micaela
- (Performances 18th , 31st )
Graduated at the Conservatory “Benedetto Marcello” in 1992 with full marks, subsequently
she undertook advanced study with Silva Stella, Aldo Ceccato, Salio Walli, Iris
Adami Corradetti, Romano Gandolfi, Denia Mazzola, Lowe Sherman, Margaret Baker-Genovesi,
Luciana Serra and Alida Ferrarini. A winner of several vocal competitions, she has
established an international career, performing regularly in some prestigious opera
houses and festivals. She has worked with such conductors as Antonello Allemandi,
Gerard Korsten, Jonathan Webb, Daniele Callegari, Donato Renzetti, Daniel Oren.
Recent engagements include: her debut at the Teatro Regio in Turin singing La Traviata
opera she performed also at the Festival Pucciniano in Torre del Lago; Miss Lucia
in Lucia di Lammermoor in Bern; Nabucco at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan;
Ernani in Vilnius; Liù in Turandot in Pisa. Silvia Dalla Benetta
gained great success for her Violetta in La Traviata in Rabat and in Parma
where she performed in a Verdian Gala. Active also on the concert side Mrs Dalla
Benetta performed Verdi’s Requiem in Jesi and lyric concerts in Kazakistan,
at the Sferisterio Opera Festival in Macerata, in Busseto besides Leo Nucci, at
the Teatro Regio and at the Venaria Reale in Turin, in Budapest, in Nice, and on
tour in China in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Canton.
Among her future plans it is worth mentioning Ernani in Vilnius.
